Sinnet Nightstands

The goal with the Sinnet Nightstands was to carry the lines from the Hawser Bed into a more compact form. I sought to use a similar weaving technique and maintain the flowing transitions that are integral to the Hawser, while streamlining the components fabricated on the CNC.

By creating legs that were not side-specific I was able to reduce the number of tool paths needed and simplify stock preparation. I fabricated a cradle to hold the stock in place after the first side was cut, allowing for a more efficient two-sided operation in regards to both time and waste.
